On April 29, 2010 Tiffany & Co., the world-renowned jeweler, celebrated the opening of a 6,400-square-foot store in Shanghai`s Hong Kong Plaza, located on historic Huai Hai Road,one of the city`s best-known destinations for luxury shopping and fashionable boutiques, and a center of business and financial services. The two-level store features an exterior with architectural details of Tiffany`s famous New York store, along with clear and opaque blue glass panels overlaid with a woven metal screen that together create dynamic visual effects. Inside, customers are welcomed into an elegant environment of warm woods, a crystal chandelier, stainless steel framed showcases and vitrines, custom furnishings and wall coverings, and a private sales salon. Concurrent with the Hong Kong Plaza opening, Tiffany is opening a store at the new IFC mall in Pudong, bringing the jeweler`s total number of Shanghai stores to four. Among the TIFFANY & CO. collections offered are diamonds in legendary engagement rings and other dazzling expressions of Tiffany`s diamond authority. Customers may also choose from the collections of Tiffany`s exclusive designers; sterling silver jewelry of polished perfection; chic accessories and gifts. Each design is wrapped in the Tiffany Blue Box, international symbol of glamour that bestows an aura of luxury and excitement on all of life`s important occasions.
