Footwear and Accessory preview at Pure London
With over a £129 million worth of business done across all sections of the February edition of Pure London, August 1-2-3 2010 will not disappoint with an array of new and returning brands exhibiting. 76% of all visitors to Pure London are interested in the accessory section and 46% of all visitors are specifically interested in buying footwear. With new confirmed footwear brands Xti, Emma Go, Tamaris, Ria, Vienty, Nacho Rivera, Derniere Version and Mugnai, buyers will be able to browse through some exciting collections at the show. Folusho Oghagbon, Director of UK brand Zala Collections commented `Pure London is the UK`s leading trade fashion event for international sourcing.By exhibiting at Pure, we will use the opportunity to show a vast variety of UK and international buyers our very best range of hand crafted, luxurious and chic sheepskin footwear.` With total overseas visitors increasing by 41% in February 2010 with brands from a total of 52 countries exhibiting, Pure London is a strong international event. Portuguese footwear brand Dkode will present a colourful explosion of militant and ethnic-looking gladiator flat sandals, summer boots, lace-ups, mary janes, ankle shoes and sandals on comfortable heels. Dutch label Bronx will be returning to the show with their collection of high fashion and affordable footwear. Edward Barnes their UK Sales Agent commented `Pure London is a great way for seeing a lot of clients in a short space of time and, if they think the collection is good, will place their orders at the show!` Eject and Prophecy will also be back for another season. Eject was created in 2001 as an urban fashion Portuguese shoe brand.The Autumn Winter collection will be a tribute to the 1970`s with psychedelic and punk influences. With its rich and impressive heritage Shellys London keeps its signature girly styles, with shoe clip ballerinas for the versatile girl, little booties with woollen socks to keep girls toasty in winter, and court shoes with bows for the winter parties! The 80`s are back with lace-up ankle booties, boots with straps and buckles, zip trim court shoes in turquoise, fuchsias, bright red shades and lace prints. J Shoes will showcase their understated glamorous collection. Focusing on design treatments such as cut outs, aerated uppers, pinking, tassels, ankle lace embellishments and material mixes including the use of rich natural materials bamboo, cork and raffia. Steve Madden is easily America`s most successful shoe designer. Considered the fashion footwear mogul of the 21st century,Madden has been responsible for the design and marketing of the company`s trendsetting shoes for the past two decades.
